Blue Bradley

Blue came to know Jesus at the age of 16 through conversations with youth leaders and a need to sort his life out and be transformed by the Good News. He has led in many areas including youth groups, young adults, a Mosaic church plant and by directing Northern Easter Camp for the last 13 years. His heart is for this pivotal time in youth ministry.

Caleb Haurua

Having done his Masters at Carey Baptist College, Caleb is now a lecturer there for Intermission. His ministry context was firstly as the Youth Pastor at the Upper Room, he then led the youth and young adults at Royal Oak Baptist Church where he still volunteers.

Suz is the Young Adults Pastor at Manukau City Baptist. She is the lead for Brave Love, a movement that asks “What is your God-given purpose and how can you step towards that?”

Steve is the Anglican Bishop of Nelson. He has come to New Zealand from Kenya as part of a mission initiative. He knows the power, hope and joy in the Gospel of Jesus and that’s what he’ll be speaking on.

Duane started as the Youth Pastor and is now Senior Pastor of South West Baptist Church. He founded 24-7 Youth and saw it spread across the country. He is speaking on Innovation for Youth Ministry and Creating a Culture of Belonging.

Hailing from the USA, Marko runs the Youth Cartel, an organization that resources and trains youth pastors. He has been a longtime friend of BYM and will be doing a live feed from the States on what’s happening for youth ministries there and hope that they have for the future.


This year at QB we have four seminar streams—24 seminars in all—to fit leaders' specific needs.


is the essential skills for people who are in their first two years of youth ministry


is for youth leaders who have done two or more years in youth ministry and have a basic handle on what young people need and what youth ministry is about and want to grow deeper. 


is literally for those who serve Intermediates, years 7-9 with a particular developmental and faith focus.


is aimed at youth pastors and key leaders who are responsible for leading the youth community and need to go deeply into specific topics. 

Terms and Conditions

(PLEASE READ ALL CONDITIONS: It will save you and us time)

Our terms and conditions are intended to ensure the financial viability of Queen's Birthday Weekend, now and in the future, and to deal fairly with attendees. 

They are also designed to keep everyone as safe as possible.

Please note Queen's Birthday Weekend can only go ahead under Orange or Green, under the current government regulations.



Please register people as a group, (you can edit up until closing date) it makes our systems so much easier. In other words if you are the team leader, please register your group; do not pass the link on for them to do it.

Payments of Invoices


Registrations will close on Monday the 30th of May at 5.00pm


Additions cancellations and replacements, up until Monday the 30th of May.

1) If you want to add anyone else after your initial registering of people (you will be sent an invoice for these people at the time), you can do so, then you will be sent another invoice for any additions that you need to pay 

2) You can cancel a registration, it will not change your invoice so please pay your initial invoice and we will refund you after camp. Please email us you have done this

3) You can replace someone but we will have to do that manually for you.


Cancellation by Queen's Birthday Training Organisers

If at any time prior to Queens Birthday weekend, It is necessary to cancel or abandon the weekend for reasons beyond our control (for example, but not limited to: natural disaster, pandemic, disruption to essential supplies, Government or Local Authority decree) the following terms will be applied to fees paid by individuals or churches:

a. Fees will be retained to pay costs already committed or paid, or which will inevitably be required to be paid for the supply of goods or services which Queen's Birthday Weekend is liable

b. Any funds in excess of the amounts necessary for Queens Birthday Weekend to discharge its committed financial obligations will be returned to the person or church who made the payment.

c. Queens Birthday weekend training has the discretion to make fair and reasonable estimates of its fixed and committed costs in calculating a refund.

d. There will be no refund if cancellation or abandonment becomes necessary after the weekend has started

e. Queens Birthday weekend will endeavor to refund any money as soon as is practicable

COVID-19 Protocols

a. If someone has any form of Covid or flu symptoms (or is awaiting a Covid test result), please do not let them come to Queen's Birthday Weekend.
b. IMPORTANT: Please get everyone to produce a negative RAT test on the Friday before you leave. This will be an honesty system.

c. Unfortunately, if someone does develop Covid symptoms, they—and their close contacts—will need to leave the Event.

d. Can each group please have an adequate supply of face masks, hand sanitizer and RAT tests for your group? Tui Ridge will have its own  Covid Protocols in place.
