CHILDREN & FAMILIES MINISTRIES
We provide a professional introduction to the Ministry to new volunteer or paid Children & Family (C&F) workers. We offer a range of resources, ongoing meetings of C&F workers locally and one on one coaching or mentoring, depending on the level of experience.
CHILDREN & FAMILIES
Children & Family Ministries is a critical part of every church. Too often it is isolated away from the core services but this is disadvantageous to both. What we are learning is that inter-generational integrated worship and church life is critical to children's & young people's learning of God and their spiritual growth. Over the last 10 years the Baptist denomination has seen a 26% decline in the number of children attending children's church. Younger parents, especially those outside the church, are looking for a different style of family-oriented worship and these models exist with Messy Church and Godly Play, They are worth exploring.
Children's Ministry Leaders Cluster Groups
Cluster Groups are a vital form of support for the wonderful people called to lead Children's and Family Ministries in our region. We currently have cluster groups meeting monthly in South & East Auckland, North & West Auckland and Central Auckland. Contact Raewyn or Brigitte to find out dates, times and venues.
